Changes abound...

(This is a long one, everyone, if you don't have the time or drive...just wait till Friday...It'll all be summed up...but it'll be too late to do anything about the changes. Don't worry...I'm not ending the comic or anything...just...'fixing' some things.)

Well, things have been going along smoothly...relatively.

I hope you've been enjoying the new arc. If you've noticed a bit of a drop in art style I actually did the first two pages (02 and 03) before I finished Chapter Eight. I did them right after I finished the scripts for Book One, Chapter Eight and I just kind of did them to see if I liked the new style. I didn't, so they look a little funny since I fixed them to look like the way I wanted them to look. So Friday sees the first 'new' comic from Book Two. So if you're not loving it so far, give it one more chance...it starts to get really good, if I do say so myself. Once Hana and Sam, with Adjana of course, come into play the story really livens up...and you get some fun back and fourth between the characters.

Also, if you've been exploring a bit you may have noticed that a lot of links point too This comic in reference to the beginning of the story. That's due to the fact I decided that I'm kind of...stashing...the first book away. I'm taking the entirety of Book One off the archives and making them available for download; look here if you'd like to get a head start on the downloading.

The reasons for this? It's a very long story...but I decided that, while I'm so proud of Book One, I know a lot of the first arc or so is...slow to start up...I know what I want to read, I think I know what you want to read (it's what I want, I think. Though I could be wrong) and it's kind of muddlsome to go back and read through three hundred something comics in an effort to get caught up. That's what this entire story arch is about. Making it so people can drop right in and know whats happening. I want people to get hooked on this comic, I know I have a very gratifying fan base right now, but I'm sure a few of you almost quit reading once in a while. And because I know that there aren't people as understanding, or patient, as you've all been I'm doing this.

It's funny...this is something I considered doing at the start of the comic in the first place. I considered not even having a Book One...because I knew that the only really important events were Tom getting his sword, them becoming agents, the Roto's fall. But now...I'm happy I didn't just skip it out right. I've learned so much about drawing, about my characters...that I wouldn't trade it for anything. Plus, Adjana wouldn't be here...and I wouldn't want that.

So, too all of you who have stuck by me...thank you. From the bottom of my heart. You're all the old timers (hell, some of you may have even seen Pre-Rebirth and that's saying something 0_o). So you'll have some battle stories for when I get enough readers to justify a forum. Yeah, thats right. I'm shooting for the stars here people.

I don't want people to skip Book One. I think its important. But I know that somethings weren't perfect. Just like I know they aren't perfect now. But they're more acceptable...and...well...that's enough for me. I hope it's enough for you, too. If not, tell me...I may try to figure something else out. But as of right now, come Friday, the archives are going to be three years shorter than they are now.

Book Two is going to change this comic. It's where I've always seen as the start of everything. Some of the things from Book Two pervade everything else in the story...and for that I think it's enough to let people read Book One, only if they want.

Thanks again, your readership has meant a lot to me.

Peace.

PS. I really, really need to start limiting my posts. If you made it all the way down here, congratulations. XD
