The little hunter

Isn't she cute? ...I think for the sake of full disclosure I should say that I originally pictured her as smeared with blood. In the exact same pose. Just with her and the land scape covered in red.

I'm actively glad I didn't though. I think it would have ruined the picture and honestly I'm not sure what that idea said about me >_> <_<

I'm not @#$%ed up. Honest.

Anyhoo...I was trying a new coloring method...it took forever, but I think that it gave the picture a cool 'water color' look. I also used a lot of pastels and light colors which I think fits. What does everyone think?

I don't have a name for her as of right now. Well, I did, but it wasn't very good. She's one of my older characters that I suddenly had the urge to draw, no real reason, I just wanted to. She's not a part of the PKF, she belongs to a story called 'The Guardians' which stars an amnesiac swords man who may or may not already be dead, it chronicles his travels in an altered world that's a bit steam punk (High tech in old world settings). There's a few other characters that I'm fond of, including a bandit that has liquid metal blood and a traveling ninja/assassin that's hunting the hero due to some confusion on his identity. But I doubt that anything will come of them...I created the whole series when I was in high school (which wasn't that long ago, but seems like ages now).

Interesting note, 'The Guardians' was actually my first foray into the world of comics. Totaling an astonishing three pages it never really got off the ground. But it was fun and taught me a bit about comickery...which I totally scrapped when I started the PKF. So hey, lessons learned.
