EDIT 10:12am: ACK!! Totally forgot to upload the new part of the story!! Sorry! Here it is now! I fell asleep early last night and it slipped my mind to upload it! Haha...Sorry. I'm actually very happy with how this one works...plus I fit in three different Pop-Culture references...Which can only increase my geek-cred, right?
Also, 'Death From Above Alien Scum' just makes me giggle. I don't think that I'll be using it again, but I figured that one or two old jokes made new wouldn't hurt, right? Or maybe they do. Either way, I'm happy with it.
Every once in a while I get adventurous with these things and do something really cool with the layout. This is one of those times. I'm actually happier with the rough of this page than I am with the final...but the rough involves stick figures and crudely drawn letters...so I can't exactly post that. But I'm happy enough with it. And you have to admit...that's cool looking as Tom slides down the mech.
Next Friday is the end of this arc, so if you're just barely hanging on, there's an end in sight XD. After that there's going to be some filler (including the annual 'Summer fun' picture) and some other drawings that I'm happy with. The only reason I'm not jumping right into the first chapter is due to the myriad of computer problems I've been having as well as the fact I'm wandering off for two weeks to visit relatives. So a week of filler-ific pictures is really a way of keeping my buffer in tact. And I figure you'd rather have me throw up filler in between arcs rather than in the middle of them. At least that's what I prefer, and so far it's worked.
Anyhow, just so you don't all worry, my computer is working fine again. It was actually the monitor that was freaking out...but after some troubleshooting it's working fine again. Apparently it was in a bad power outlet...or something. So it's all good now.
