Well, I finally contributed to one of my favorite webcomics. I drew a very nice picture of Tedd and Grace from El Goonish Shive if you care to check it out here, at my Deviant Art gallery.
I spent a great deal of time on it and I'm very happy with it. This of course brings me to my next point...I'm sick and @#$%ing tired of posting a comic I'm not totally happy with. Friday was a perfect example (just click back if you want)I'm not angry with it, but I just know I could to so much better. So I'm going to start a new system, I'm no longer going to just finish a comic, save it and only look at it when it loads on the website.
Yes, that is my current system. Most of the time I'll go back and fix spelling errors (when I catch them) or other things like that (remember that @#$%ed up word balloon one?) but rarely will I fix the art. It used to be that I was doing so much of the comic on paper that fixing something once scanned it was a total pain in the ass, but now I'm mostly digital...so there's no more excuses for me being a jack ass.
So starting today I'm going to sit on the comic for a few days and THEN save it for uploading.
This wont affect the schedule or anything, I've got me a buffer! But you probably wont see the effect of this decision for a few weeks (till the resolution catches up with the buffer) but I'm going back and fixing anything in the comic I deem 'subpar' so the immediate result will be a few subtle things you wont notice in the coming weeks.
Ok, rants over. I promise.
